Description
As a young boy, William (Willie) Wilson Curtin was on the dignities platform when the Gettysburg cemetery was consecrated. A photograph shows Abraham Lincoln and Willie Curtin, son of Pennsylvania's Governor Andrew Curtin just prior to Lincoln giving the famed Gettysburg address. The history of Gettysburg battle and cemetery and the impact of the Gettysburg address are discussed.
