Description
The State of Colorado aims to reduce Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions by at least 26% by 2025, 50% by 2030, and 90% by 2050 relative to 2005 emissions levels. Hydrogen is identified as a potentially important low-carbon fuel for beyond 2030, especially to reduce emissions in hard-to-electrify sectors. This roadmap identifies opportunities, barriers and recommended actions for the deployment of low-carbon hydrogen in the state of Colorado over the next fifteen years.
