Description
CD included and kept in librarian desk drawer. Ask to borrow it! In 1975, Danny Ferrington moved from his hometown of Monroe, LA to Nashville, the country music capital of the world, to appentice at the Old Time Pickin' Parlour with the famed acoustic guitar make Randy Wood. By 1980, after making guitars for the likes of Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings and J.J. Cole, Danny was ready to strike out once again, and he went to Los Angeles where he continued to construct custom guitars not only for the leading figures of country music, but for the stars of pop and rock music as well. His seamingly instantaneous climb to the top of his field is the result of a remarkable combination of creativity, unorth-odoxy, craftsman-ship, and down-to-earth, endearing personality. This book evokes the artistry of this American original in a unique way.
