Description
In volume 1, Ichigo Kurosaki, a young man who can see ghosts, encounters Rukia Kuchiki, a young woman who is a Soul Reaper and a member of the mysterious Soul Society. Soon Ichigo is a full-fledged Soul Reaper himself, learning that he must protect innocent humans from dangerous spirits called the Hollows.
