Notes

Description
Thousands of years ago, the god Kur created the first race, the wreth, who were beautiful and powerful in magic. But when Kur discovered his world was flawed, he commanded the wreth to destroy Ossus, the dragon at the heart of the world. Kur disappeared, telling them that only when the dragon was destroyed would he return and remake the world; he would save those wreths who were victorious. This command launched countless centuries of devastating warfare as two factions of wreths competed to kill Ossus and each other in a struggle to survive the remaking of the world. The wreth needed servants, slaves, and soldiers, so they created a lesser race of their own—the humans—who fought and died at their side. The land was devastated by their magical warfare, and the wreths exterminated each other. Now, millennia later, the land is fertile again and well settled. Humans have survived, flourished, and built empires of their own. The wreth and Ossus are tales of a legendary past. But one day, a party of wreths rides out of the desert wasteland and up to the gates of King Adan Starfall's castle, in a swirl of storm and a crackling of magic, and demand the humans return to their service.
