Description
Acupressure is a method whose effects are not as intense or as deep as those produced by acupuncture, but its advantage is that it can also be learned and applied by horse owners, trainers and caretakers. For example, fear and tension in horses can be relieved with the aid of acupressure, and the horse's psyche can also be positively influenced. It can be used to lessen the effects of stress on the horse prior to any unsettling events, such as a change of stable, a horse show or transport. It effectively treats pain, anxiety and stress symptoms, mental tension, and supports acupuncture therapy.--,Source other than Library of Congress.
